近日，浙江省教育厅公布了《关于公布2020年度省级一流课程认定结果的通知》（浙教办函〔2021〕195号),宁波诺丁汉大学共有23门课程被认定为2020年度省级一流课程。三大学院和英语语言教学中心均有课程上榜，共涉11个专业。

一直以来，宁波诺丁汉大学高度重视课程建设。学校成立时将英国诺丁汉大学的优势学科与中国社会经济发展需求相结合，引进一系列国际一流水准的学位课程，并加以适当本地化，嫁接培育出具有中国特色社会的国际化学位课程，使中国学生能以较低的成本接受世界优质高等教育。

目前，小班教学、批判思维、讨论式学习已成为学校的普遍性教育主张。疫情期间，学校通过技术与空间的加持，实现线下为主、线上为辅的教育模式，鼓励学生主动学习、合作探究本土化或全球化挑战的解决方案，推进学生为中心的课堂教学再上新台阶。

2021年5月，2021软科世界一流学科排名发布，我校在工商管理、管理学、经济学这三门学科领域中分别位列国际高校第11位、第26位和第44位，而宁波诺丁汉大学也是唯一一所入选该三门学科榜单的中外合作大学。

课程是人才培养的核心要素，课程质量直接决定人才培养质量。教育部于2019年宣布启动“双万计划”，即计划用三年左右时间，建成万门左右国家级和万门左右省级一流本科课程。2020年11月，宁波诺丁汉大学“项目设计”、“营销管理学”两门课程入选首批国家级一流本科课程。宁诺理工学院和商学院的两门课程成为全国仅有的成功跻身国家级一流本科课程榜单的全英文课程。去年，我校另有13门本科课程获评省级一流本科课程。至此，宁诺已有38门省级一流课程。

接下来，宁波诺丁汉大学将继续坚持“以学生为中心”的办学理念，改变“教师讲、学生听”的传统课堂，打造“多元化”课堂，进一步推进信息技术在教育教学中的深度应用，搭建混合式、多样化教学平台。学校将坚持以一流本科课程为引领，充分发挥一流本科课程的示范带动作用，不断提高我校教学质量和学生学习体验。

Another 23 UNNC modules recognised as Provincial Level “First Class” UG Modules

According to the results of the second round of the Provincial ‘First Class’ UG Module Scheme announced by the Zhejiang Education Department in August, 23 modules at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) were newly recognised as Provincial Level ‘First Class’ UG Modules, including modules from all three faculties and the Centre for English Language Education.

Attaching great importance to its curriculum development, UNNC has combined key subjects of the University of Nottingham with China’s social and economic development needs. It has introduced a series of degree programs that are internationally acknowledged, and at the same time, localized these programs in order to establish international degree programs that have Chinese characteristics, enabling Chinese students to receive world-class higher education at a lower cost.

Currently, small class teaching, critical thinking and seminars have become the key principals for UNNC education. Integrating online and off-line teaching, UNNC was the first Sino-foreign university to reopen its campus and resume face-to-face teaching.

In the 2021 Global Subject (Discipline) Ranking, announced by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy in May, UNNC had three areas ranking historically high among universities in China, including Business Administration (ranking 11), Management (ranking 26) and Economics (ranking 44).

In November 2020, two UNNC undergraduate modules, Design Project and Marketing Management were recognised by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China as the first batch of National-Level First-Class Undergraduate Modules. These two modules are the only English courses in China to have made it on the list. In 2020, another 13 undergraduate modules were awarded the status of provincial first-class undergraduate modules. UNNC now has a total of 38 Provincial Level ‘First Class’ UG Modules across its faculties.

UNNC is dedicated to creating student-centred and diverse classrooms, further promoting the in-depth application of information technology in education and building a comprehensive and diversified teaching platform. The University will take advantage of the leading first-class undergraduate programmes to improve the quality of teaching and promote students' learning experience unremittingly.
