宁诺和宁波石化区“牵手”，共同打造绿色石化产业集群

1月15日，宁波诺丁汉大学和宁波石化经济技术开发区管理委员会（以下简称“宁波石化区”）签订战略合作框架协议。围绕宁波绿色石化万亿级产业集群培育和打造世界级绿色石化园区，双方将在人才培养和科技创新等方面展开深入合作，推动更多先进科研的成果转化，助力宁波市石化产业的发展、升级与国际化。

在人才培养方面，宁波诺丁汉大学将秉持先进的“国际化、互动化、创新化、实践化和实效化”的人才培养理念，依托丰富的全球化教学资源，为宁波石化区以及园区企业制定国际化的人才培养计划，开发适合石化产业人才的教学与培训模块，培养工程管理、前沿科学和技术创新中高级人才。宁波石化区与宁波诺丁汉大学还将共同探索大学生实习实训基地的建设。

在科研合作方面，围绕绿色石化产业的“高端化、精细化、绿色化、循环化”发展需求，双方拟合作进行先进绿色化学化工技术的开发引进及转化，联合攻关高端高附加产品，实现绿色石化产业链的综合循环利用。重点科研合作领域包括石化新材料、高端精细化学品和医药中间体、绿色化工技术、石化产业绿色低碳发展战略研究。

值得一提的是，为促进人才培养和科技创新项目的快速对接和成功转化，诺丁汉大学卓越灯塔计划（宁波）创新研究院将与宁波石化区共建实验室，联合开发绿色化工新材料，以及基于5G、工业互联网、人工智能、云计算和大数据的石化产业智能化生产技术。化工园区将提供适合化工技术开发的中试基地，以便构建从基础研究、技术研发、小试中试、工业示范到产业应用的创新和产业化体系。

“卓越灯塔”计划，是英国诺丁汉大学于2017年6月启动的一个重大科研项目，旨在集合诺丁汉大学的科研“优势兵力”，探索全球面临的关键问题并找出解决方案。2019年5月，宁波市人民政府与英国诺丁汉大学签订战略合作框架协议，共建诺丁汉大学卓越灯塔计划（宁波）创新研究院。这一高能级平台将围绕智能制造、绿色化学与能源、生命健康三大重点科研领域进行布局，汇聚全球科技创新资源，建立集创新研究、成果转化、技术转移、人才培养于一体的国际化科技创新综合平台。

UNNC and Ningbo Petrochemical Zone join hands to build world-class green petrochemical park

January 15: University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) signs strategic partnership framework agreement with the Management Committee of Ningbo Petrochemical Economic and Technological Development Zone, aiming to build a world-class green petrochemical park with the support of trillion-level industrial clusters cultivation and petrochemical zone. In-depth cooperation between the two sides will be carried out in talent training and scientific and technological innovation, so as to promote the transformation of more advanced scientific research achievements, and facilitate the development, upgrade and internationalisation of Ningbo’s petrochemical industry.

In talent cultivation, the University will utilise the advanced concept of “internationalisation, interaction, innovation, practicality and effectiveness” to make international talent development plans for Ningbo Petrochemical Zone and enterprises in the zone based on its abundant global teaching resources. The two parties will also jointly explore the construction of a practice and training base for university students.

In terms of research cooperation, the two parties will collaborate in the development, introduction and transformation of the advanced green chemistry and chemical technologies, carry out research on the advanced high value-added products, and realise the comprehensive cyclical utilisation in the green petrochemical industry chain, according to the development needs of being “advanced, refined, green, and cyclical” in green petrochemical industry.

It is worth noting that in order to facilitate the talent training and knowledge transfer, Nottingham Ningbo China Beacons of Excellence Research and Innovation Institute will liaise with the enterprises in Ningbo Petrochemical Zone to build joint laboratory, to jointly develop green and new chemical materials and intelligent production technologies of petrochemical industry.

Ningbo Petrochemical Zone will provide a pilot test base for development of chemical technology, facilitating to establish an innovation and industrialisation system covering ranges from basic research, technology R&D, small test and pilot test, industrial demonstration to industrial application, with the aim to work cooperatively towards the solid transformation of China Beacon Institute’s achievements.
