“IC has indeed brought me many surprises, but its charms lie in the fact that it has overthrown many of my thoughts about how something is impossible. Back in high school five years ago, I once thought that considering my personality, I will never be able to focus on academic work, but now I’m used to reading over a hundred pages of academic articles every week; Three years ago, I stated that I would never consider doing research as my career, but it is now the ting that I’m the most interested in. In my studies with IC, I not only gained a large amount of professional knowledge, but also changed my mode of thinking. With a critical mind, I no longer take something as other people say it, but rather take different voices into consideration and form my own definition. With the formation of my cross-subject consciousness, I now understand that it is important to first gain a broad view and then focus on a specific area, so I have attempted to gain insight in many fields, such as politics, philosophy, sociology and so on.”
