Conference | 首次在亚洲举办！第九届“复杂食品系统功能交付”国际研讨会来了

2021年6月16日至6月19日，第九届“复杂食品系统功能交付”国际研讨会（DOF 2021）将在广州和广东以色列理工学院（GTIIT）举行。此次会议由广东以色列理工学院和广州国际生物岛（Bio-Island）共同主办，线上和中国大陆线下同时进行。据悉，这也是该会议首次在亚洲举办。

作为DOF的衍生，6月19日，学术界大咖云集的讨论会将在广东以色列理工学院举行，欢迎大家前来参与！

第九届“复杂食品系统功能交付”研讨会是关于不同研究领域（食品科学与工程、生物物理学、应用软物质、食品技术、应用人体营养学）的跨学科研讨会，由来自世界各地的参会者（例如学术界、产业界、年轻的研究人员等）共同参与。本次研讨会特别关注以可持续发展为重点的食品系统、健康保健食品系统和个性化食品系统。

会议主要讨论“功能交付”相关的重要方面：

一、以可持续发展为重点的食品系统

基于植物创新的食品设计方法；餐厨垃圾再循环（及升级再造）；细胞农业

二、健康保健食品系统

设计用于促进健康的生物活性物质的输送系统;去除负面营养成分的物理方法；基于材料科学的成分结构，食品结构设计

三、个性化食品系统

通过定制食品提供功能;食物与人体的相互作用(感官、口腔加工、消化、排放、生物利用度、生物功效、遗传和微生物组)；根据个人需求定制食物

The 9th meeting of the DOF "Delivery of Functionality”is coming to the Far East for the first time hosted by the Guangdong Technion Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) and the Bio-Island between June 16-19, 2021.

The 9th DOF is an interdisciplinary symposium about different research areas (food science and engineering, biophysics, applied soft matter, food technology, applied human nutrition) with a diverse plethora of participants (such as academia, industry and young researchers) from diverse places around the World. This year the DOF will have a special emphasis on sustainability-focused food systems, health-forwarding food systems and personalized food systems.

We are looking forward to see you at the 9th DOF (the conference will take place in a hybrid mode – on site inChina and online as well).

As a spinoff of DOF 2021, a seminar will be hosted in the GTIIT on June 19th, which welcomes you all.

Call for Papers

Main sessions will address important aspects related to the "Delivery of Functionality”:

1、Sustainability-focused food systems

Food design approaches based on plant-based innovation; food waste recycling (and up-cycling); and cellular agriculture

2、Health-forward food systems

Engineered delivery systems for health promoting bio actives; physical approaches for removal of negative nutrients; material science-based ingredient structuring, food structure design.

3、Personalized food systems

Delivering functionality by tailor-made foods; food-body interactions (sensory, oral processing, digestion, release, bioavailability, bioefficacy, genetics, and microbiome); customization of food for individual needs.
