全球征集 | 2021杭州现代音乐节“艺创奖”国际室内歌剧比赛正式开启

一、活动宗旨

为推动歌剧艺术的多样性发展，培养和激励青年歌剧创作人才，促进原创歌剧的探索与实践，浙江音乐学院“杭州现代音乐节”与杭州市西湖区“艺创小镇”共同举办国际室内歌剧作品展演与比赛，为室内歌剧的创作与表演提供国际化的专业平台。

二、参赛要求

1. 参赛者年龄为40岁以下（1981年1月1日后出生），不限国籍、不限是否学生，每位只能提交一部作品。

2. 参赛作品不限语种、必须是2018年后创作的、未曾出版、获奖或演出过的作品。

3. 参赛作品编制：为6-8件乐器及2-4位角色而作(可选乐器/人声: 长笛、双簧管、单簧管、钢琴、小提琴、中提琴、大提琴、低音提琴/女高音、女中音、男高音、男中音、男低音)

4. 作品长度设限为20分钟左右。

5. 作品不得署作者姓名及与乐曲无关的任何标记。

三、报名所需材料

1. 身份证或护照扫描件

2. 总谱、分谱与钢琴排练谱的电子PDF文档

3. 作品简介（约200个字）

4.个人简介（中文或英文）

四、参赛申请

参赛者请于2021年7月1日前将上述材料发送到：

五、评选办法

1. 比赛将分为初赛与决赛两轮进行。

2. 初赛：评委会将挑选出四部获奖作品参加决赛。

3.决赛：入选作品将于2021年10月20日在杭州现代音乐节中由上海歌剧院出演，评委将根据演出效果现场评出具体获奖名次。

4. 奖项设置

一等奖 80000元人民币（含税）

二等奖50000元人民币（含税）

三等奖（两名）30000元人民币（含税）

5. 主办方将提供四位获奖者杭州现代音乐节期间五天的食宿与杭州现代音乐节的套票（路费请自理）。

六、相关权利

1、参与征集作品应拥有独立版权，其作者必须有无可争议的著作权。作品凡被认定属于抄袭、剽窃的，或在著作权方面有争议的，取消参选资格。若因作者的作品涉嫌侵权，由此造成损失的，一切法律责任由作者承担。

2、对于获奖作品，除非特别申明，组委会有权无偿在媒体上展示、展出、结集出版，或用于与艺术教育相关的活动。主办方享有对获奖作品录像的权利并有将获奖作品用于影视教育和知识产权宣传等非商业性活动的展出和使用权。获奖者未经主办方批准，不得自行先于主办方对获奖作品进行公开表演。

3、获奖作品无论在任何地方上演，均需在节目单上注明：“2021年杭州现代音乐节“艺创奖”国际室内歌剧比赛获奖作品”。

4、本章程的最终解释权归本次组委会所有。

Hangzhou Contemporary Music Festival “ArtinnoAward”

International Chamber Opera Composition Competition 2021

I. Aims

The International Chamber Opera Composition jointly held by Zhejiang Conservatory of Music’s Hangzhou Contemporary Music Festival and Artinno Town in Xuhui District of Hangzhou city, aims to provide a professional platform for original chamber operas’ composition and performances, in order to promote the development and prosperity of opera art, cultivate and inspire young opera creative talents, promote the exploration and practice of original operas.

II. Eligibilities

1.The competition is open to composers under 40 years old (born after Jan.1st.1981.) There is no restriction for composers’ nationality, whether he or she is a student or not. Only one work per entrant will be accepted.

2.Entries must be original works (no limit for libretto’s language) composed by the entrant after 2018 and must have not been previously published, awarded or performed.

3.Instrumentation: for 6 -8instruments & 2 - 4 singers.

Permitted set of instrumentation/voice type: flute, oboe, clarinet, piano, violin, viola, cello, double bass/soprano, mezzo soprano, tenor, baritone, bass.

4. Duration of the work should be approximately 20 minutes long.

5. No composer’s name or any other identifying marks may appear on the submitted score.

III. Submission Materials

1.A scanned copyof ID card or passport

3.A brief introduction of the work (less than 200 words)

IV. Application Deadline

All submissions must including the PDF full score,parts, piano rehearsing score and the other materials attached to the email send to hzcmf@zicm.edu.cnbefore July.1st.2021.

V. Competition and Judging Procedure

1.The competition consists of two stages: preliminary and final.

2.Preliminary: the jury will select four winning works.

3.Final: the selected four finalists’ works will be premiered in the final concert of Hangzhou Contemporary Music Festival “Artinno Town Award” International Chamber Opera Composition Competitionon Oct.20th, 2021, and the jury will decide the final rank based on the performances.

4.Prizes:

1st Prize: 80000RMB (pre-taxed)

2nd Prize: 50000RMB (pre-taxed)

3rd Prize(two winners): 30000 RMB (pre-taxed)

5.The sponsor of the organization will provide the accommodation during the 5 days of Hangzhou Contemporary Music Festival and the pass to all the events in the festival(The travel expenses will not be covered).

VI. Other provisions

1.The winners will reserve the copyright of their works. The author must have undisputed copyright. Any work that is deemed to be plagiarism or copyright disputes, shall be disqualified from participating in the election. If the author's work is suspected of infringement and losses are caused, all legal liabilities shall be borne by the author.

2.The winners must grant the following rights to the competition organizer for three years since October 20.2021:

A.The organizer reserves the right to compile the scores of the winning works, record them in audio and /or audiovisual form and the right to the publication and distribution of the above-mentioned in print or in the audio and /or audiovisual form with no extra fee or royalties.

B. The organizer reserves the right to the premiere and subsequent performances of the winning works and their publishing priority. No public performance is allowed prior to the performance by the organizer without the consent of the organizer.

3. All the winning works must be marked as “one of the winning entries of the 2021 Hangzhou Contemporary Music Festival-ArtinnoAward International Chamber Opera Composition Competition” on the score’scover or in the concert program list whenever and wherever they are given a performance.

4. The interpretation of these rules shall fall within the exclusive competence of the organizing committee.
