10月17日晚，一场以哈利波特为主题的迎新晚会在广东以色列理工学院盛大开幕。新一批学子带着他们对未来的美好憧憬来到广以，他们将在这里开启人生的新篇章。这次迎新晚会，既是欢迎新生们的到来，亦是为新老生们提供一个交流合作的舞台，挥洒青春的活力。

"One, two, three!"由音乐社 Neon Dimension & Midnight Horizon乐队带来的摇滚划破夜空的宁静，将舞台的气氛升温。鼓点阵阵，贝斯低鸣，电钢琴旁歌手们倾情献唱。广以人通过音乐，阐述着对生活昂扬向上的热情。

唯美的基调杂糅着柔美的灯光，似是一抹若有若无的忧愁在心底化开。细腻真情的演唱和乐队的演奏相得益彰，“我一路向北，离开有你的季节。”一路向北，原来秋意渐浓。

当悠扬的琴声响起，罗鹏同学已然在台上成抱拳礼，准备向大家一展陈氏太极拳。他的招式，看似柔绵，实则有力，挥臂生风，双手如云般舞动。行云流水，一气呵成，让人虽身在浮世，却有皓月当空，清风徐徐之感。

琴韵散尽，熟悉的弦音响起，一曲《后来》，直抵人心的柔软之畔。如梦般的青春，发觉时早已梦醒。但无论后来故事怎么样，现在总不能在回忆里度过。

戴力同学带来的小提琴独奏更是别具一番风味。当小提琴遇见了宛如精灵的乐曲，就犹如一位拥有天籁之声的女高音找到了她钟爱的歌曲。悠扬的琴声，在你我心中永存。

欢快的喧嚣渐渐平息，取而代之的是一首深远的歌曲。水星是离太阳最近的一颗行星，但它永远无法脱离自己的轨道，也无法再接近太阳。叶鲁阳、王梓明两位男生将这种孤独感，以歌声的方式娓娓道来。

当《稻香》的旋律奏响，不知是非洲鼓有节律的鼓点，还是同学们婉转动听的歌声，让观众仿佛嗅闻到稻麦的清香和泥土的气息，给这浓黑的夜带来了灿烂阳光。

巴扬手风琴是一种俄罗斯的民族乐器。卢飞宇同学的一首《天使艾米丽》，正好可以让你享受一次异域的听觉盛宴。正如同名电影中所说，"假如时间能够驾驭，我愿把这一刻尽情拉长，在幸福的聆听里，送走黑夜，迎来黎明。”

一曲粤语版的《春娇与志明》，令人陶醉。这首歌表达了电影里面俗世男女的随性和妥协，相爱便是无解。男生声音浑厚有韵，女生声音细腻动听。二者相辅相成，相得益彰。

舞蹈《ATTENTION！GTINYOURAREA》压台出场。优美的舞姿，充满着青春的动感与活力，给人带来以美的熏陶，令人如痴如醉。她们是青春的使者，给观众带来艺术的震撼。

一场青春激情的新生party就此圆满落下帷幕，相信这个夜晚将成为大家珍藏一生的记忆。活动结束后，我们有幸采访到了两位参与演出的同学，他们分享了自己的感受。

参演人员有话说

一开始，我与同一节目的另外三位同学并不熟悉。在这一个多月排练中，我们互相帮助，解决彼此的问题，关系变亲近了许多，我十分珍惜这段时间和这份友谊。

一开始感觉很紧张，担心太极拳不适合舞台氛围。但后来发现好像不是这样，于是我就静下心来，将老师教我的动作尽力打好。即使还是有一些瑕疵，但还是对那时的自己感到比较满意。很感谢同学们的认真观看。我希望中华优秀传统文化能被越来越多的年轻一辈看到，并传承下去。

Freshmen Party

On the evening of October 17th, a Harry Potter-themed freshmen party for new students was held at the Guangdong-Technion Israel Institute of Technology. The freshmen will start a new journey in GTIIT, envisioning a beautiful future. This activity offers an opportunity for newcomers to communicate with elder students.

"One, two, three!" the rock music brought by Neon Dimension and Midnight Horizon from the music club, broke the silence of the dark and heated up the atmosphere on the stage. Drums were beating, bass was whispering and singers next to the elector piano sang with love. GTers expressed their passion for life through music.

The beautiful tone mixed with the soft lighting created a kind of sentiment and atmosphere which filled with sadness. The beautiful singing complemented the band's performance, "I'm all the way north, leaving your season." All the way north, the autumn falls.

When the melodious music began, Luo Peng was holding the fist and palm salute on the stage and ready to show the Chen-style Tai Chi. His moves, seemingly in a gentle way, were actually powerful. He wove his hands like clouds and flashed his arms. The performance made people away from the hustle and bustle of the city and brought inner peace.

The familiar melody followed the Tai Chi performance. The song, Later, reached the softest part of the audiences’ heart. Our dream-like youth had an important place in our memory, but we can’t always indulge in the past.

Violin solos performed by Dai Li were even more unique. What the violin was to the music the soprano was to her favorite song. The melodious violin sound echoed in our hearts.

The cheerful atmosphere gradually subsided, filled with a lyric song. Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun, but it can never leave its orbit or get close to the Sun. Ye Luyang and Wang Ziming expressed this sense of loneliness with song.

When the melody of Rice Field began, the rhythmic beat of the African drum and the lovely sounds brought the audience the impression of the fragrance of rice and soil.

The Bayan accordion is a Russian national musical instrument. The song Angel Emily played by Lu Feiyu provided us with a foreign auditory feast. As the quote in the movie said, "If time can be controlled, I will extend this moment, send away the night and usher in the dawn in the happy listening."

The Cantonese version of Love in the Buff was intoxicating. This song expresses the casualness and compromises between men and women in the film. Love is inexplicable. The thick voice from the boy and the delicate one from girl complemented each other.

Finally, the dance "ATTENTION! GTINYOURAREA " lit the stage. The beautiful moves, full of youthful vigor, caught people’s eyes. They were the messengers of youth to bring the audience an artistic atmosphere.

The passionate freshmen party drew a successful end. This night may be a lifetime memory for everyone attended. We had the opportunity to interview two students participated in the performance about their feelings of the stage show.

Message of Students

At the beginning, I was not familiar with the other three students on the same show. During the rehearsal for more than a month, we helped each other to solve problems, and our relationship became much closer. I really cherish this time and this friendship.

At first, I felt nervous and worried that Tai Chi was not suitable for the stage. But later, finding that it didn’t seem to be the case, I calmed down and tried to do my best. Even though there were still some flaws, I still feel satisfied with the show. Thanks for all the audiences. I hope that the excellent Chinese traditional culture can be seen by more and more young generations and be passed on.
