Visit | 龚新高校长带队访问部份中外合作办学院校

为互相学习、增进交流，本月20日至22日，广东以色列理工学院校长、中国科学院院士龚新高带领学校教师代表、相关部门负责人，前往浙江、上海的部分中外合作大学参观学习，探讨办学经验和未来发展。

在宁波诺丁汉大学，宁诺执行校长尼克·迈尔斯，党委副书记、副校长沈伟其，副校长崔平，以及该校研究生院、理工学院、学生事务与发展中心、招生、财务、人力资源等部门负责人与广以调研组进行了深入交流。宁诺建校至今已有16年，宁诺校领导分享了学校成立初期至今的办学经验和体会，并就学校行政架构设置、人事政策、学生培养、基金申请等问题，与广以调研组展开交流和探讨。

在温州肯恩大学，温肯校长、俄罗斯工程院院士王立陪同参观了该校建筑与设计学院大楼、商学院综合展示馆、 教室、公共空间等地。龚新高校长一行还现场体验了温肯的课程氛围，与设计系老师交流了设计系的课程设置和教学模式。在随后的座谈中，王立校长向龚校长一行介绍了温肯整体运行情况。双方就学校的办学模式、管理机制、师资招聘、发展规划等进一步交流、探讨。

在上海纽约大学，上纽大校长童世骏、副校长丁树哲与广以调研小组座谈。双方介绍了各自学校的基本情况，并就中外合作办学体制机制、师资队伍组建与管理、学生管理、资源配置、招生、毕业生去向等方面进行了深入交流与探讨。

此次参观交流进一步加强了广以与中外合作办学兄弟院校相互之间的交流，为增强队伍建设、提升管理水平、加快学校发展提供了很好的思考和借鉴。

在上海期间，广以部分人员参观了中共一大会址纪念馆，重温百年党史，践悟使命初心，更加坚定了加快学校发展，为国培养人才的决心和信心。

In order to learn from each other and promote the communication, Prof. Gong Xingao, Chancellor of Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, together with faculty representatives and relevant department directors visited some Sino-foreign cooperative universities in Zhejiang and Shanghai to discuss university-running experience and future development from 20 to 22 this month.

At the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, Prof. Nick Miles OBE, Provost and Pro-Vice Chancellor of NDUC; Prof. Shen Weiqi, Vice-Provost for External Relations; Prof. Cui Ping, Associate Provost, and the directors of University’s graduate school, polytechnic, department of campus life, admissions, finance, human resources had an in-depth discussion with GTIIT team. NDUC already has 16 years history. The leaders of NDUC shared their university-running experience with GTIIT team, and had conducted discussions with the GTIIT team on issues such as administrative structure, personnel policies, student education, and fund applications.

At Wenzhou-Kean University, together with Prof. Wang Li, Chancellor of WKU and Academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, GTIIT team visited the building of architecture & design college, college of business & public management comprehensive exhibition hall, classrooms, public spaces and other places. GTIIT team also experienced the course of WKU and had a communication about the course setting and teaching mode with the faculty of architecture & design college. Prof. Wang Li also introduced the overall information of WKU. They had further discussed on the university-running model, management, faculty recruitment, development planning and so on.

At NYU Shanghai, Prof. Tong Shijun, Chancellor of NYU Shanghai and Prof. Ding Shuzhe, Associate Vice Chancellor of NYU Shanghai had a discussion with GTIIT team. They introduced the basic information of both universities, and conducted in-depth discussions on the system of Sino-foreign cooperation university, the formation and management of faculty, student management, resource allocation, admissions and graduate destinations.

This visit enhanced the communication between GTIIT and other Sino-foreign cooperative universities and provided new ideals for strengthening team, improving management skill, and accelerating GTIIT’s development.
