考点 till和until既可以做介词，加名词构成介词短语，也可以作从属连词引导时间状语从句，用于肯定句或否定句中。
till now/until now 迄今，到现在为止
till/until then 直到那时
till/until the end 直到最后
例句 You want to see a very interesting film with your friend,but your friend can't go until he/she finishes cleaning his/her bicycle.
你想和朋友去看一部有趣的电影，但是你的朋友要等到擦完他的自行车才能去。
若“not until +时间”状语位于句首，则主句用部分倒转
例句 Not until that moment did I realize its depth.
直到那时我才意识到它的深刻。
2、while doing... 当......时候考点 在主从复合句中，当从句中的主语与主句中的主语一致时，而且谓语中含be的某种形式时，可将从句中的主语和be省略。
例句 While walking the dog,you were careless and it got loose and was hit by a car.
在遛狗时，你粗心让狗跑了，结果它被车撞了。
If asked to look after luggage for someone else,inform the police at once
如果有人要求你帮忙照看行李，请立即报警。
3、It is/was because +从句 那是因为......because引导的是表语从句，其后接原因，在It is之后只能用because来引导表示原因的表语从句，不能用since或as。
I wonder if it's because I haven't been able to be outdoors for so long that I've grown so crazy about everything to do with nature.
我不知道这是不是因为我长久无法出门的缘故，我变得对一切与大自然有关的事物都无比狂热。
4、There was a time when... 曾经有一段时间......考点 句型中when引导的是定语从句，修饰先行词a time。a time指的是用一段时间，还可以用times。
例句 I can well rememner that there was a time when a deep blue sky,the song of birds,moonlight and flowers could never have kept me spellbound.
我记得很清楚，曾经有一段时间，湛蓝的天空、鸟儿的歌唱、月光和鲜花，从未令我心迷神往过。
5、stay+形容词 保持......考点 “stay+形容词”构成系表结构，stay后可接形容词作表语，也可接名词作表语。（同样的词还有continue,keep,remain,lie,stand）
例句 For those with family members far away, the personal computer and the phone are important in staying_____.
A. connected B. connecting C. to connect D.to be connected
6、It is/was the first time that sb. have/had done sth.这是某人第一次做某事。
考点 在此句型中，主语除it以外还可以是this，that等，其中的time也可以用day,year,month等时间名词代替，从句中的that可省略。但是，从句中的谓语动词必须用完成时态。如果谓语动词是is，则用现在完成时；如果谓语动词是was，则用过去完成时。
7、It's no pleasure doing... 做......没有乐趣考点 本句型中pleasure后用动名词，it作形式主语，真正的主语是后面的动名词。(类似的句型还有It's no use/good/point doing......)
例句 It is no pleasure looking through these any longer because nature is one thing that really must be experienced.
但是观看这些已不再有乐趣，因为大自然是你必须亲身体验的。
